Pope Francis and US President Trump Met in Vatican

Pope Francis welcomed and met the United States President Donald Trump to the Vatican, the New York Times reports. Swiss Guards saluted Trump and his wife Melania after they walked out of an armored limousine. Pope Francis, who entered from a side entrance before the meeting it was a chance to welcome second American leader after President Barack Obama paid his respect in 2014, publishes New York Times. As the Times writes, Pope Francis and Trump “have diametrically opposed views on issues,” including immigration, climate change and arms sale.Prior to Vatican visit, Trump visited Saudi Arabia and Israel. After Vatican, Trump would go to the NATO Summit in Brussels.
