President of the Republic of Macedonia, Gjorgje Ivanov began a meeting with Deputy Assistant Secretary in the State Department for Europe and Euroasia, Hoyt Brian Yee at the presidential residency in Skopje. Yee arrived together with the current U.S. Ambassador Jess Baily and Deputy Chief of Mission Micaela Schweitzer-Bluhm. After this meeting, Yee should continue his two-days visit of Skopje with political officials in the country. Yesterday, Hoyt had meetings with political representatives of Albanians in Macedonia. This visit of Hoyt happens two days after people broke into Parliament soon after new parliamentarian majority claimed and elected Talat Xhaferi for a new president of the Assembly in the aisle of the plenary hall “Macedonia” in Skopje.
