Rutte’s Party Leads Exit Polls after Election in the Netherlands

The Netherlands Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s party won 31 out of 150 seats in parliamentary elections, BBC.com writes after first exit polls. Rutte’s centre-right VVD Party is far ahead of the next three parties, including anti-immigration Freedom Party, the Christian Democrats, and the D66 Party. The final turnout may exceed 80%. The VVD party will need to make a coalition with other political representatives.
