The White House issued on Sunday a statement to defend recently introduced the new executive order on extreme vetting, saying in a statement: “We will continue to show compassion to those fleeing oppression, but we will do while protecting our own citizens and voters.”

According to the statement by the U.S. President Donald Trump, “This is not a Muslim ban, as the media is falsely reporting. This is not about religion–this is about terror and keeping country safe.” The statement says, the U.S. would again issue visas to all countries, after  “we are sure we have reviewed and implemented most secure policies over the next 90 days.” As first priority, Trump says it is to protect and serve the country, “but as a President I would fine the ways to help all those who are suffering.”

Protests at largest airport and cities continue on Sunday, with thousands confronting the executive order issued on Friday. The issue provoked massive social media confrontations and petitions, mostly with the hashtags immigrationbanMuslimBan, NoBanNoWall.
