At least 22 died and 70 are injured in twin bombings near the Afghan parliament in Kabul, BBC.com reports. The attack occurred when staff were leaving the parliament complex. A Taliban spokesperson said the group claims the attack and that the targets were members of the Afghan intelligence agency. But, as BBC.com says, most of the victims are civilians, including parliament staff. A suicide bomber explored prior to a car bomb explosion. According to Afghan sources, a district head of the National Directorate of Security was among dead.
