Despite the previous announcements for the news conference at the State Election Commission, until 11:30 p.m. CEST the Commission did not open the news conference, although the update for the votes was available on the Commission website. Reporters waited for the news conference, but the conference did not occur until 11:30 p.m. local time.
According to the data available on the website of the commission revote results in one polling place in Tearce are 245 votes for SDSM, 149 for VMRO-DPMNE, 2 for VMRO for Macedonia, and DPA, DUI and Alliance for Albanians casted each one vote. Unofficially, there would be no changes in the previous numbers of mandates after the election on December 11, which is 51 to 49 in favor for VMRO-DPMNE and their coalition partners. The simulation for the gained mandates represented the same situation as after vote on December 11.
After this revote, political parties could again submit petition or complaints for the voting process. Two hours after the scheduled news conference, there was no official address of the Commission for the media.
The State Election Commission of Republic of Macedonia would announce the preliminary results of a revote process in one polling place, 2011 in Municipality Tearce and would say the preliminary results for the Electoral Unit 6. The polling place 2011 closed in Tearce at 7:00 p.m. CEST and the short break of the voting process for 15 minutes did not prolong the voting hours. Commission scheduled the news conference for approximately 9:30 p.m. local time.
The revote process in the polling place 2011 in Tearce began at 7:00 a.m. CEST in Tearce municipality, Tetovo area. About 700 voters could cast their votes in the time when the polling place will open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on December 25. The State Election Commission decided for a revote in this polling place considering a possibility the revote could affect the official results. The decision came after the complaints of opposition SDSM to the Administrative Court in Skopje and decision by the Commission that revote could influence the final results. Before to announce official results, political parties could petition latest voting.
