Time: 10:00 p.m. CEST

President Barack Obama would sign the U.S. legislation to extend the sanctions against Iran for the next 10 years, the White House said on December 2. “We believe the Iran Sanctions Act extension is not necessary, but we also believe it won’t interfere with the Iran deal,” spokesman Eric Schultz told reporters at a daily press briefing. “I would expect the president to sign this piece of legislation,” Schultz said to Reuters.
