Car Bomb in Benghazi Killed 22, Injured 20

The Shura Council of Benghazi in Libya claimed responsibility for the blast of a car bomb that targeted security forces, which killed 22 and injured 20. The Guardian reports that security forces and medical officials confirmed the casualties. The attack targeted Libyan National Army (LNA), as a forces  spokesman, Fadel al-Hassi, said. A Reuters witness said the powerful explosion reduced a building to rubble. The explosion happened in a residential area in the Guwarsha district.
