Reuters informs the Egyptian military spotted the personal belongings of passengers and other debris of an EgyptAir jet in the Mediterranean. Military in Cairo confirm on Friday, “the plane had plunged into the sea with 66 people on board.” The navy explained the location of the debris about 290 km (180 miles) north of the Egypt’s Alexandria. The search for the plane’s black box recorders continue.
Egypt’s President Adbel Fattah al-Sisi offered condolences for passengers and crew on board. Even though the terror attack is one of the discussed option for the disappearance of the plane, until now no group had claimed responsibility for the flight MS804, which flown from Paris to Cairo. The investigators of France and a technical expert from Airbus will help Cairo’s investigation of EgyptAir flight MS804 fate.
On Thursday, plane swerved sharply and plunged from 37,000 feet to 10,000 feet entering Cairo airspace, as Greek authorities said.
