Ukraine Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced on his official Twitter account @Yatsenyuk_AP he would resign as prime minister. Yatsenyuk, who led Ukraine through most difficult times said he will submit his resignation to the Parliament on April 12.
Yatsenyuk says they could not allow “destabilization of executive branch during a war. This’d be inevitable,i f after this resign. a new Government is not selected immediately.” As he said, the Block Petro Poroshenko “Solidarity”, BPP has nominated Volodymyr Groysman to the post of Prime minister. Yatsenyuk thanked People’s Front for its support. People’s Front will remain in the coalition, because it is the only way to defend the state. “The core of our problems is not purely political. It is ethical. If morality requires changing the political rules, then it’s certain to occur,” Yatsenyuk said, explaining that of today his goals are broader, “new electoral law, Constitutional reform, Judicial reform, Ukraine’s membership in the EU and NATO.”
