President Obama Visit Kenya

Time: 10: 36 a.m. CEST Update: 7:51 p.m. CEST

President Barack Obama has arrived in Kenya, as the White House press corps members who arrived in Kenya ahead of the president report on Friday.

Earlier, the White House correspondent for The Associated Press, Julie Pace tweeted that, “the U.S. and Kenyan flags line the main road out of the airport and a few billboards welcome Obama to Kenya.”

President Obama are visiting Kenya and Ethiopia for bilateral meetings, for meetings with African Union and it will attend to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit, the White House press secretary Josh Earnest announced before the official visit. This is fourth trip of Obama to Africa. The White House says, “it is most of any sitting American President” It is the first time that, “a sitting American President travels to Kenya and to Ethiopia.”

Numbers of members of Congress traveled with Air Force One and will accompanied the President to his Africa official visit until July 26.
